Running from dog's is only a reliable option if there's something to climb and you're running to it. If you're strong enough and know how, beating the shit out of them teaches a much better lesson.
Shooting them works too.
Damn dude, that had a really serious chance of sucking. I'm glad you and yours are alright. You should mention the possibility of rabies to your neighbor so he can have his livestock checked.
I say part it out... but only if you sell me the engine!
But seriously, if you decide to part it out, please let me know. I need an engine something fierce, and a BHG doesn't scare me.
I can't say how hard this would be to do yourself, but I have a local shop owned by a supra guy and he quoted me $50 per wheel. But that may be the super-special-returning-supra-owner's discount.
If you've got the knowledge, space, time, and manpower, then you should definitely do it yourself. You'll save a shitload of money and you'll learn more about your car. It's win-win!
My understanding, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, is that the engines themselves are the same for the most part, but they're tuned differently. Japan has a law that limits any vehicle produced for sale in Japan to having no more than 280 hp, which is why there's a difference.
That's true, but while the hubbell is only a little closer, it was designed to see things much further away than pretty much everything on earth. I would think that would make a serious difference.
There's no evidence to support this. Sorry.
Wow, really nicely done! I'm planning on ditching the stock seats eventually, so I wouldn't do this personally, but those are really beautiful! I love the nice clean look on the doors!
Court. You gave her the money as a deposit based on a verbal agreement. Without a contract the transaction never technically took place. And as she did not say that the $1500 was non-refundable, she should legally have to return it.
