you will def be able to race. worst case youd have to wait for open test and tune at 5pm.
what kind of helmet are you looking for?
ride_now on ebay has snell M helmets for $65. they ship quick too.
if you need a snell SA helmet there are a couple other places that have them for under $200
yes.

sorry didnt realize there was a lawrenceburg indiana.
yes its ky. www.hoofnmotorsports.com
it was just a suggestion. we could always hit up clemons in new albany indiana.
that is probably your best bet. you (or anyone else) are gonna be hard pressed to get much going on something that is $500. even more so if its a prepay and wait. i understand youd like to save some money, but his price for new billet cams are a steal as they are. ive been in the game long...
i think its a little premature to count out people. with chicago coming up soon its hard to think about another meet. besides, its nearly 2 months away.
chris and i went out to lawrenceburg to hoofn motorsports to tune his car. i talked to him for a while and he said if we wanted to bring...
i would think if it is a restriction with the fpr or j tube it would cause an increase in fuel pressure which should make it run richer no? thats why i had thought perhaps it was something on the feed side causing the restriction.
but like you said, without a fp gauge its just a guess.
not a lot of experience w/ the rebic. but if the output signal is anything like the vpc i would put the afc after the rebic. either way will work, but the afc after the vpc sure does run a lot smoother so i dont see why putting it after the rebic would be a bad idea.
yep. also ive noticed redline water wetter will make the coolant a funky color.
id give the coolant system a good flush then refill. also may want to scrub up the overflow bottle. they often get a layer of grunge on the inside over the years.
i just tuned a 60-1 today. while it is a tad smaller, results should be similar.
the charts are first and last run. first run was so rich it was hitting fuel cut then after some tuning got it sorted. it was getting hot and on the last run it was almost 90F and 74% humidity. i think if we...
damn IJ! i saw pics of it on your build. i had no idea it met such a demise. you must have been going "quick". it hit the pole so hard the steering wheel ended up on the passenger side! ;)
hey toyman-
do you happen to have any shots of the rear bars and a direct side shot thru the door?
thanks
also, most bolt in cages are not legal for cars <11.49
but, they are easy to put in, really help stiffen up the chassis and do add some saftey.
i would def go after chromoly...
i dont have anything here to read a doc file.
but, to me it does make some sense. you remove a restriction on the feed side so more fuel = richer a/f. much like if you add a restriction on the return side it creates a richer a/f.
on the other hand, youd think the 02/ecu would counteract...
you may or may not know sw racecars make cages for us.
8pt moly for $399 and 10pt moly for $499
they also make in steel.
8pt $169 and 10pt for $249
i know you are all about japanese parts, just throwing this out there ;)
sure thing.
use these to pull the fittings out of the valve covers.
now you just have an empty hole there. buy an adapter that is pipe thread on one end and -8 AN on the other.
then use the appropriate size tap for the pipe thread end and tap into the empty holes.
you...
those fittings on the valve covers just pop out. then you could tap the valve covers for pipe thread. then use a pipe thread to AN fitting (i too recommend -8). just be sure you clean the hell out of the valve covers to get any metal shavings out.
not sure why someone would say connecting...
