    Regulus Rear Lip and Spoiler

I have one of the few rear wings that are known in the states. I was told it was 1 of either 9 or 10 that are known to be in NA. Pretty cool piece, been sitting on it for about a year now, haven't gotten around to installing it since I'm still collecting parts for the widebody conversion...

MKlll vs 1976 Porsche 911 turbo?

Widebody? Or had that trend not started yet with the 911? Either way, cool cars, always did have a soft spot for classic crazy. Challenging to drive is one way to put it. As Clarkson on Top Gear says, "they named it 911 so the Americans would know what number to call when their car unexpectedly...

    Ethical Dilemma - Painting a MKIII 3E5 VS 202

Considering that there are (as of my count this very morning) 17 (19?) WHITE vehicles parked on the street I live on, which isn't even that long, and this was just a count from my limited view of my master bedroom... I would NEVER own another white vehicle. Especially in an area where snow is so...

    Going for big hp!!!

WTF is going on in here? Talks of 700hp 7m's and everything else under the sun... what have I stumbled into? :aigo: If you're serious, DO YOUR HOMEWORK, and God help you, if you cut even a single corner, be prepared to face the consequences. I've seen plenty of high powered 7m's, but the number...

    Life change

Good luck man, but you'll have to forfeit the opportunity to smack anyone who snickers at the word 'murse'. Is it worth it to you, to give THAT up? :p Seriously though, stick with it and make your way. ;)

Updated PICs of my post Supra BEAST

Looks beautiful man. Just read about the 2012 Z06 running around Laguna Seca... that thing is frighteningly quick. Was on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires of some sort. Wish I had a car that could run 19's and still have a sidewall, they're a really nice sounding tire. Would look into them if your...

Spartan living, or, "How to budget for a Supra project"

Thanks man, it's worked for me for the last ~6 years of Supra ownership, but has further uses too. Produce more than you use, and you'll be in good shape your whole life. :)

Driving unlawfully. How old are you?

Good to see you get that point at such an early point in your driving career. Also, I approve of your xkcd inspired user title. :)

    Random musings...

It's the same argument I have about modern automotive design being influenced by "safety" regulations. I wouldn't need stability control, because I could use a reasonable tire to keep control of my vehicle. I wouldn't need traction control, because I wouldn't have 300hp in a sedan, because I...

Are human beings this ignorant? A strut brace rant.

At least someone has figured out a use for them... I've used them as a good place to perch from when working on top of the engine or in awkward places of the engine bay. Could they theoretically (if build solid enough) provide any engine bay protection in the event of a side collision impact?

smashed on a gti vr6 and a 240sx at the same time

I remember a GTI being an 11.0:1 motor and having boost on top of that some years ago, maybe 2007ish? If you could crank a bit more boost out of it, I could easily see it being a good fight for a Mk3 that isn't heavily modded.

Interesting place you're tuning your car at there... that looks very official, like an R&D facility or something! :D

    Alternatives to Cable TV

Hopefully you got a referral for the DTV thing Clint, had I known you were considering that I could have given you my parent's account number to reference. Both of you get like $10 off your bill for 10 months or something like that... Anyway, you guys should be happy with that, if I were going...

Wiring a Light fixture - please help

My parents bought a house from a local guy who's last name was Taylor. If I didn't know better, I could swear he was related to "Tim" off of Home Improvement. The guy was a complete tard when it came to housing projects. Our faucets were flipped (hot/cold handles), the original garage was burned...

    steering wheel feel

I used to have an 88 NA, ended up disconnecting the power steering pump because it leaked like a sieve. Topped it off, and disconnected the belt. Probably not the best for the steering system, but I rather liked the feel of it without power steering, at least with 225's up front. Makes it a lot...

How much have you spent on your MkIII

The Firebird/TA also got a turbo 305 (301?) in the early 80's as well. Flateric, I say as a general statement that the majority of Supra owners are impatient, but I think Grandavi pretty much summed it up. Any Supra is a test of dedication to its new owner. ;)

    Ethical Dilemma - Painting a MKIII 3E5 VS 202

x2 for Wyoming, gotta love the desert huh? I've heard a similar saying about not doing fun things with a girlfriend to preserve her for the next guy. :p That said, I've also heard 'black if you're buying/keeping, white if you're selling' for the very reason of defects in the body.
