I doubt it's your tranny. I burned mine up a few months ago, I don't remember an odor. When I hear odor & exhaust in the same sentence, the first thing I think is to check the cat converter. If it's clogged, it stinks like shit.

If I had to judge from that picture alone, I'd say the cracking had more to do with the owner than the design. The car is pieced together with a duct tape approach. Notice that the flange was cut off & rewelded (shitty welds at that), it's missing at least one exhaust flange nut & a hole...

Front / center, middle / center, rear / center? The only thing that I think that would make it 'gush' out like that would be a leak after the pump, which should make the fluid exit near the front of the tranny. Your best bet is to get input from GarretRowe, he seems to be the A340 expert, not...

silly question, but is the dip stick tube seated correctly? Is its' seal torn? Is it bolted in place? IIRC, the lines to the radiator is on the passenger side, so that the only thing I can think of.

Cclean it up & inspect it, see if you can give us some more info as to where the leak is coming from.

I'm not looking only for carbon fiber, I'm just looking for a clean way to mount my SAFC & AVC-R. It can be fiberglass, abs plastic, carbon....it doesn't matter to me.
