89+ didn't have any extra wires at the stereo connector, the extra speakers are run parallel with the other rears.

I'm not sure if the ASC was a dealer-installed option or a port-installed option, either way the result is the same, the sunroof was installed after the car was completed and brought to the USA. Factory sunroof was 1991+ option, and semi-rare, but only because there aren't many of those...
