Should I jump on this? 91 targa turbo, about 80k original miles

I want to replace the valve cover gasket, where do you guys recommend I should get it? I've seen it on Rockauto.com ranging from 10-27 bucks and should I also get a valve cover kit?

Should I jump on this? 91 targa turbo, about 80k original miles

Alright the plan is to go this Saturday to help my friend change the radiator since they asked him to do it, so I might as well go with him and I can get a better look at the motor and such. What should I check for when changing the radiator other than the coolant for oil?

Replacing a radiator, where to buy a replacement?

There are a lot of general mechanic type places in Houston lol, if there is a problem with something then they suggest to replace everything. It's no longer an issue now it's been ordered and hopefully soon I'll be posting pics of the beauty.

Replacing a radiator, where to buy a replacement?

I was just seeing how much these radiators go for and it seems like they cost around $100 for an OEM replacement and for all aluminum they go from $150 to $300+ and I don't need anything that excessive I just need an OEM like replacement. Thanks for the help and advice everyone.

Replacing a radiator, where to buy a replacement?

I'll play it safe and find one for a manual turbo lol It seems you guys are right the radiator for an auto can be used on a manual just plug up the hole for the transmission oil port but can't use a manual radiator on an auto because of that.

Replacing a radiator, where to buy a replacement?

I am not saying $80 is pricey I am just trying to get a feel of the price for this part and it seems that $80-90 is a good deal. I am curious as well from what I have heard Mishimotos are pretty good.

Thank you very much, I don't think any junkyards around me have MK3s but my friend says there are quite a few in the junkyards near him but they are far away from me. I'll check those places out. Hello everyone, where can I get a replacement radiator for a 91 MK3 turbo 5spd? I found one online for about $90 I was hoping you guys would know where to get one for less. Should I jump on this? 91 targa turbo, about 80k original miles

Yea I remember my 7MGE motor in my old 88 NA was quiet but not as quiet as this one. Plan is to replace the radiator and the guy is willing to keep the price the same, so that is good he was willing to knock off a couple hundred bucks to have us fix it but my brother won't let that happen also...
