well for the speed sensor, it's the same, just hooked it up to the tranny. only thing is that the speed is way off :dunno:
for using the harness what i did was cut the harness off the automatic, plug it in and the thick black and white wires wired together will bypass the clutch pedal engage...
it's going into gear fine, and doesn't pop out, but it just feels like it not notched into place as good as it should be. theres no grinding either. i guess i'll be able to describe it better once i drive it again this weekend. right now my good friend is driving it around in his town breaking...
yes i did get a new cup thing, but the teflon cylinder that it rides in is not there because apparently noone knows it exists and toyota couldnt find it for me either.
how would low tranny fluid cause this? i just changed the fluid and put in the required amount so i should be good with that.
another boop.
my questions are:
-whats the deal with this blue cylinder thing?
-how do i get the O/D light to stop blinking?
-now that i wont have abs cus this tranny is from a non-abs, how do i get the abs light to turn off? there a fuse a can pull?
yeah so in every gear and mostly in 3rd, the shifter does not seem to be notched in place like it should be. well it fits in there good but it'll just move slightly towards neutral when i take my hand off of it. With very little pressure toward neutral, you can feel a vibration in the shifter...
so i guess a twisted driveshaft is out of the question?
so if i launch my car on stickies with a freshened up rear and my w58 (im turbo by the way), the most probable failure would be the tranny?
right, but i doubt it was assumed that there was an invisible asterik beside that statement mentioning:
* -engine condition evaluation and supporting mods required
