ANOTHER controversial topic that really should have just been searched. But since I'm in an arguing mood - There really is not an actual given NUMBER for how much boost a stock CT26 can handle. Yes, it's very true that after so much boost (typically after 15psi), it will just blow hot air...

Don't want to jump to any conclusions yet...but a typical sign of a turbo at least "going" bad is gobbs of smoke on either deceleration or after boosting. As jdub said, figure out what color the smoke is first. Blue, white.....purple, chrome. :D Jeff

Well, while physics and transfer of weight is simply the facts...I can honestly say that in two different instances...One on Ice, and one in rain, I safely kept my ass on the road. Am I saying that my 2 bare arms can man-handle 3300lbs? Hell no. But needless to say, it does not win...

I dynoed at 320rw/360tq and prior to that, owning the car for over a year with only 1 working knock sensor. It shouldn't make that big of a difference. If it feels SLUGGISH, or simply underpowered, check your timing. Jeff
