i've got a 6m, not by choice... just curious though, anyone know if the 7m cranks were ever sold in japan, seems to me, the 7m was not sold any longer when the 1jz came out, and this switch was the same time they started to produce 7m cranks for us (in the states) edit: also, no harshness...

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the wastegate (maybee not ours, but in general) supposed to open at a pre-set pressure, open all the way, and maintain that pressure?

pretty much under the center of the side facing towards the back of the car... it can be kinda hard to get somethin under there

hm... sounds like it could be a large number of things :-/, and apparently the stock wastegate design is shitty? correct me if i'm wrong, but i'll check everything as advised, and i'll get back to ya'll

nice... good friend of mine has a '05 black sti, k&n intake, invidia divorced downpipe, rsr exhaust, cobb ap stage 2? not sure estimated hp is around 370 w/ all of that, we have 93 oct. here too, but i absolutely love those cars, takes a lil while to get used to drivin one, soooo touchy, but...

Pretty much, i'm having issues w/ creep and when my wastegate is opening. -it CAN open as soon as 1 psi, sometimes i can hear it opening before my stock boost gauge even activates (so it'd be in vacuum) -when it opens, the turbo keeps on spooling, it slows a good bit once it gets to about...

heh, i know all about the turbo diesels... i dunno why they try to race :dunno: , but i'd love to see the look on the guy's face w/ the viper when you beat him :D

i got mine from jazzproparts.com, the price is up now tho... i got mine for 975 shipped... everything included, auto tranny, full wiring harness, just about all of the electronics in the engine bay... didn't use the auto tranny tho :-/ r-154 for me :D another thing... my motor had 18,885 km on it
