Well, lets say that they are better than nothing, but not by much. Somewhere on the web I remember recently reading about the actual vacuum these things will draw. Its pretty poor. They also need a pretty decent air compressor to feed them.

The flex section on a transverse engine takes a beating. On an inline setup like the supra the flex does very little and will last for a good long time.
