Looking good! You could have droped your carpets off with me and I would have done the flood car treatment on them. Takes 24 hours, but they look/smell new after!
I have the ST bars. I would say yes massive difference over stock. When you remove the stock bars you will know why. I can take turns at a much higher rate of speed and not loose tire contact. The rear bar is a PITA to install though.
Well that sucks! The ability to run a super moniter and have the front washers is kinda cool though.
Yes the heat in my building at work is killing me! Sheet metal buildings with no ventalation FTL!
HAHA! Looking good! The rear fit is great. MTs and some drag times will be necesary! How close is your radiator hose to the alternator belt? I would think about fabbing up a hardpipe with that cap built in for fewer possible failure points. Can't wait to see it on the road!
The Charger looks and feels cheep inside and out. To me the Challenger is what the Charger should have been. It looks like a late 60s car with a big V8 that has more torque than most can handle. I want one.
Cheepest route would be snag one from a local junkyard or someone on this forum. When you buy a used motor assume it has a BHG, rod knock, and bad gaskets/hoses/sensors everywhere and rebuild accordingly. Build cheep on a turbo and you will be broke with a broken car soon.
All MK3s I have ever seen came R-12 stock. But I have only been under the hood of 90 and prior.
Usualy when the conversion to r-134 is done the ac dryer is switched out and adapters are put on the charge ports for the r-134 setup.
You should never buy AZ pads, or anything from Autozone for that matter. Pay the extra dollar or two and get something that won't eat your rotor. OEM is your best bet.
I was 22. 87 N/A hardtop auto, my second car. I didn't even really want it and wasn't even looking for another car but for $800 and it was a running RWD Toyota... Lots of hard work, parts, and cleaning brought it back to life. It was a respectable DD that slowly converted me into a fan...
I just remembered those VW commercials, this car was obviously made for that!
