Man Sold Supra, Wife Cooks the money - A MUST READ

No kidding? That's good to know I guess. Actually, from how I understood it, IN OVEN. :nono:

    Nice Opportunity Here

The only really nice things about it are the low mileage and the condition (interior option of black leather as well), but... -It is slower than a stock NB Miata -It is red (although in great condition, and the black interior is a nice match, just not my preference) -....you know, other than...

Clear bubble type side repeater lenses......

Looks nice and all, but I would suspect you would have to change the bulb to a yellow hue to avoid headaches with areas that require inspections, correct? Even if that is the case, it can't be that hard or expensive to do so... If you're planning to start a group buy, I would suggest you go...

New CT26 dyno 573lbs of torque

Oh, very much so. In fact, I dare say it probably wouldn't be possible without it, to run very much boost pressure at that high compression level. However, combine that with direct injection, and beautiful things happen. ;) Not to burst your bubble (e85 is well enough documented as a decent...

    What The F*ck??

I like the way you think, way to put it into a positive perspective. :)

Man sells Supra, wife burns money in the over.

Hmm, seems rather than burn, it melts? Odd... Foolish though, to store money in an oven. Freezer would have been a much better place to keep it in the kitchen. Duh. :p

    Skyline&Supra

Gotta love how these things snowball on ya... He excited to get to drive it sooner than later?

    Lost another shroud today

That's what I figured happened... can't see someone on here being dumb enough to attack a speed bump head on. Now, the next question of mine would become, what sort of road would you be doing speeds in excess of 50mph (I'm guessing here, given your 35-40mph after quick braking estimate), would...

    eBay Wheel Spacers

Better option still, buy a proper wheel that fits your desired application. I understand this is probably the most expensive option up front (especially if you don't understand how wheel sizing works), but why carry around more weight than necessary on your hubs?

Suggestions on down pipes, and exhaust in general

I'll also chime in and mention the RSR, I still think it might be the best sounding exhaust for either a 7m OR JZ. That said, if you plan on taking the car on road trips, try to find one with a silencer. ;) For daily driving though? Sounds sweeeeeet.

Bored As All Hell Tell Me What You Think It Will Run Down The 1/4Mile

Err... I'm going to guess they had a hell of a time hooking up, because that is about 1.5 seconds slow for that trap speed...

New CT26 dyno 573lbs of torque

All in the tune sir... Miata engines are 10:1 and run boost too. VW direct injection turbo engines run something like 11.5:1 IIRC on the Golf GTI...

    BMW 1000RR vs 1000hp Supra 7175

Somehow doubt you're going to keep traction (even from a roll) with WRX width wheels. They do look very similar though. And holy crap, good rider, fast bike too...

    What The F*ck??

I would advise against it. You know the phrase ignorance is bliss? Applies here as much as it has to any internet "ewwwww" before it. ;)

Whats the stupidest thing you have done to your supra?

Thread back from the dead! Thread necromancy at its best. :p As for me... Hmm, I would have to say buying it. Seriously. Should have bought my 88 back instead of the 89 I have now...

    What Grinds Your Gears?

Shoe decorations. ;) Well, technically, bad injector wiring would cause a cylinder to be "dead"... Err... kinda a step sideways, isn't it? Then again, pretty much anything Smokey does is pretty awesome, so I'll allow it.

    1JZ-GTE VVTi BOV Mod

That was a good thread on Turbo Miata, but I'm actually having the opposite problem. Too much boost with a boost controller (even on the minimum setting), but without it, I only get maybe 12psi, 13psi tops. I'm wondering if a slight restriction somewhere might not be in order...

    upgrading stock speakers

Hmm, I seem to recall leaving the door handle itself attached to the panel, but I could be wrong. I'm in the same boat (having done the door panel on, door panel off thing a LOT), except for the bezel thing. Didn't know those attached to the door itself. :)

Steering lock adjustment and wheel bearing check

Those look like Volks to me... nothing to be mad about if they are. :)
