errr... it cant spin backwards... unless the flow over the exhaust wheel changes.. what can happen tho is you stock bov isn't working right, so you here a woffling sound from the turbo, in this case the air is going backwards over the compressor wheel and can break the shaft/fins after awhile..

there's also oil leaking from each bearing. and out the end's of the rod's in some case's. also the oil from the squirters is scraped off with the pistons and that end's up all over the place... the idea is not only to have less fluid mass on the crank, but also keep more oil in the bottom...

since the fuel has a higher octane, what would be a safe lean burn for cruse? i could get 17/18afr with no pinging on 92 pump w/10% ethanol pump, while crusing down the freeway.. i understand it's not for mpg, i just curious for knowlegde.

i ahve a w58 stuffed into an mkii w/ a 7mgte. @ 12 psi i put down 324rwhp, and 317.5 rwtq 400hp is about the limit for them though in the pig's mkiii and mkiv, though the mkii is a lighter car, so 450 might be attainable. i've seen third let go around 400hp though.
