I raced a Z3 on the way home the guy challenged me, so I downshifted and he honked 3 times then I left him like he was standing still. I think he just wanted to see me gun it lol. Also I came home after a LONNNNGG day to find my flywheel friction insert plate sitting on my desk WOO
I have Monroe hood struts at first they were great I barely lifted the hood and it opened itself but now it opens halfway and I gotta push to open it fully. My friend has Strongarm hood struts on his GS300 and they are great I might be switching to those for both the hood and hatch.
I feel sorry for y'all that have to put yours cars away for the winter when it's winter down here in Houston it's the perfect time to drive a turbo MK3 it becomes a beast straining at the leash and we don't get much snow at least in my area.
Yea the Stage 2+ seems to be perfect for me streetable and plenty strong for what I have. I would also like a short shifter feels like I am rowing a boat with the stock setup lol.

Another update, ticking noise is back lol some reason I did not hear it yesterday while driving but today I had the windows up and heard the ticking noise upon acceleration.

No problem and good luck. It's good to make a cardboard box with sections for each valve I got a box and cut up pieces of another cardboard box and made 24 little sections to organize my valve parts and used a marker to mark for intake and exhaust, etc. helped a lot.
I borrowed the tool from a friend I don't know what size but I think it's the GA317 that was the one I was looking at buying when I did my head gasket.
