A kill switch is fine as long as your conscious after whatever bad thing has happened that you need to kill the fuel pump. Why not just hook up the COR as it should be, all that is needed is the FC wire and STA wire, and both of those can be wired up in an 80 corolla using a transplanted EFI.

The Turbo Indicator was never used in USDM cars since they all get a boost gauge. In other markets, it is used to turn on a dash LED that says "Turbo" approximately when the turbo is spooling. Its a guess though, based only on engine rpm and load. You can leave it disconnected.
