I'am looking into buying a block with the rotating assembly, it was rebuilt 10,000 miles ago, it has the stock bore. I was told by the owner it has 149-150 compression all accross, except number 6, since the valve wasnt sitting corectly (60psi). Does 149-150 seem like a good compression? He was...
I also thought you were suppose to tighten it, but according to my research on supramania, your suppose to soften the setting.
Tomorrow I will soften the setting and cut my vaccum line shorter to the BOV, since it is pretty long right now.
Thanks guys!:biglaugh:
Does it need to be pluged?
Also I installed it already, and at very low boost, around 1 o 3 psi I get very little flutter from the BOV, but If I tightened the knob on top, I just get a Swooshing sound, and I dont get the ziinnggg sound lol. Is this fluttering at very low boost normal? Im...
I just purchased a use Greddy Type S BOV. The smaller vaccum nipple seems to be missing (the one on the bottom). Does that nipple need to be hooked up? Or can I get away with just using the big vaccum nipple that on the top?
Im also going to recirculated it. THanks :biglaugh...
Yes it was secured, it looked like a tight fit.
Ok so lets get this straight, how would I set the fuel pressure then? If the pressure reads depending on temp, then how would I set it? Isnt there suppose to be a little more pressure when the vehicle is just started? And once the operating...
Yeah if I rev the engine the FP will go up and then down to normal.
LOL spiders, well im going to try to get a different gauge, and for now Ill set the FP cold, and see if I get those codes again. BTW I need a Widband! :biglaugh:
Okay guys now that I remember I did adjust the fuel pressure in these 3 days that I took fot the codes to come up. I think I has adjusted the fuel pressure about 5 times, and at one time I did set it at 27 psi with the vac line on when hot, as soon as the engine was cold it went to 30 psi, and...
Thanks for replying guys, after a little search I found that its normal for these type of Glycol fillled gauges to be inaccurate depenind if hot or cold. I guess its normal to see the change in pressure readings?
But to the other problem, what im more worried about is code 25 and 26 (rich and...
So a little history on my car, for a few months it had been getting code 25 (running Lean). So a 2 months ago I replaced my fuel pump with a Walbro 255lph from horsepowerfreaks.com. The code didnt go away, then i found out it was my fuel pressure regulator that was faulty. So now I had a chance...
Can anyone do me a big favor?
Ok well I was wondering how my sup would look with a Black hood and headliights and black front bumper with a lip....I was wondering if anyone can photoshop that for me? The color of the car is, sky blue (gay blue lol).
ITs an 1989+
Sort of like Tonys...
If I were you I would just rebuild it, I heard theres someone that rebuilds them for like 120 dlls (if I rememeber correctly).
The used CPS that I bought from a member was leaking internally worst than the one that was on my car. And it was suppose to be "in good conditons". lol.
Well today i did the 12V mod I jumped the Fuel Pump Relay and eliminated the Resistor just to test and see what happens. So I hooked up the Fuel Pressure Gauge and at idle it read 31 psi (higher then normal). Then I unhooked the Vaccum source from the FPR and the psi went up (which is good, I...
So yesterday morning at work, I installed my brand new Walbro 255lph fuel pump that I bought from horsepowerfreaks. At that time I hadnt bypassed the Jtube, so after a 30 min drive home, as soon as I slowed down to about 10 mph in first gear, I noticed that the car started to yank back N forth...
