    2jz down pipe

Custom. Unless you want a full custom exhaust, you are going to want a hybrid downpipe that is the right "height" and length for the 2JZ, and you want it to terminate where the 7M downpipe would [so you can mate to cat-back exhausts made for the car - direct bolt-in]. I'd say an easy enough way...

How to retrieve hood bolts from inside body panels?

A magnetic "pickup tool" can work wonders. So can a pair of mechanical fingers. I work on aircraft, and FOD [foreign object debris] is a major issue. If you lose something, finding it is a must. Those two items, along with a foldable/positionable mirror are a must for little accidents.

    Can I run 12s & Dyno@350+hp on stock twins w/ these mods?

Just remember.. if you get 550s, you are probably going to need to either get high impedance injectors or get an injector driver of some sort [like a solenoid resistor from a MkIV Supra]. US Spec 2JZ 550cc injectors are low impedance, and will require this.. unless the E-manage compensates for...

    Drawback to cheap parts?

Some parts are not HORRIBLY priced from the dealer. Labor is what will kill you. I paid about $450 for a TRD sport clutch, and paid more in labor for install. Man, I wish I knew back then how to work on my car like I do now.

    Cheap Parts -Debate

OEM is more expensive and lasts longer. You get what you pay for. Let's say you buy an OEM alternator and do the labor on your own - it just might be worth it. I've had 3 bad alternators from cheap parts stores before. I don't think I'll ever make that mistake again. Then again, some "hard...

    Project daily driver

I don't know, man.. a Neon? Even if the SRT-4 was RWD and ditched the name "Neon", I still don't think I could live with myself.

I think I found my new DD!

My dad had an older red celica that looked like that. He called it "The Beater". It wasn't the nicest or cleanest, but it lasted a long time. It was stolen and we got it back. Eventually we got rid of it because my dad wasn't mechanically inclined enough to do brake work, and he kept losing...

I've had my car confused with the Corvette, Ferrari and Lotus Esprit. Not bad.

    1j or 2J manifold

Well now.. if you do it RIGHT, you are going to use larger diameter tubing, which will flow more air, and you will be getting mandrel bends which are constant diameter [you would shit if you pulled out all of your intake piping and looked at all of the bends put in there], and there are going to...

    clip prices on the rise?

Maybe they just realized that Jarco is selling high quality clips for literally 2x their price, and that Jarco is still getting more business.. Maybe Venus thinks they can make a profit from this. Let's just hope the quality of service stays the same, and the quality of clips goes up. I've...

Anyone else hate Where's Waldo books?

I can't do the optical illusion things.. I think it's because my depth perception really sucks. That's also why I leave like a million car lengths between my car and the next car ahead of me, whether at a light or on the move.

    Does your serious relationship partner

My wife and I thought we had alot in common - now that we are married, it seems more apparent that we have alot NOT in common. We're fine with that, though - it means that there are things you enjoy together, and some things that you have "just for you". I don't expect her to enjoy or take...
