Update-
(since SO many people obsess over this life-altering issue...)
The oil galley plug is neither NPT or BSP. Apparently, it's a metric size.
I didn't really need to know the oil galley plug size per se, but rather the rear collant bleed valve near the back of the block.
My bleed valve is...
Got the oil pan powder-coated today, textured black. Feels rock hard, like stone guard....
...and so does the oil pan...(sorry, couldn't help it.)
Going to bring a few things to a metal refinisher shop tomorrow, to be re-zinc'd, like the coolant and vac pipes, alternator adjuster, crank...
Welcome to the forums on your first post.
This is the wrong section for such a thread, though.
The mods will move it to the General MkIV discussion section, most likely.
Well, they're not getting fed.
No, my local stealership. I asked how much a new oil galley plug was- $36.00!!
Well, I hope that FIPG is better than most of the stuff I can buy at my local parts stores.

$255 from Driftmotion.com
Hmm. Looked up the bearing online, and found that Oreilly auto sells them for both turbo and na.
NA- $89.99 (Anchor part#8588)
Turbo- $346.99 (Pioneer part #648588)

The car looks even better with the black and white photos- can't even tell that it's not one color. :)
Well, if you use head bolts, you don't engage the threads as far down as they go.
Dunno if the studs thread down further, but using a bottom tap hits those dark scary places.
Oil driveshaft, oil pump and Arizona performance supply pipe, done.
Oh- forgot:
I also had my machine shop mill down...
