So I drove the route posted on first page that I was thinking for the cruise - it's decent but it involves some freeway and through town. I don't know how well we could thread a dozen or more cars through without getting broken up. The 3-4 miles in Wisconsin though are some awesome twisties.

Probably a smart move with the tint - are you getting 50% put on sometime later? Also awesome that an oil leak has been fixed.
You might be able to get a reduced ticket too if you can show them that the tint has been removed...? (I base that only on conjecture, not any sort of legal knowledge)
