Challenger looks cool. Others just look plastic to me.
The Shelby mustangs are ok and I'm sure they'd rip my head off if I drove one, but they just look plastic to me. :dunno:
Holy crap a sandblasting cabinet thingy?!?!?!
I used that in Middle school and loved it!
That would be so sweet. I can't wait to buy my first house and make my dream garage a reality.
Car has no been running for nearly a month and all is well. I had a few small coolant leaks from where the new coolant hose fittings weren't tight enough. After tightening those, I have ZERO coolant loss and ZERO oil loss after about 3 weeks. WOOHOO!!! :)
Time will tell if the sealing surface...
Maybe because an FC only weighs ~2700 lbs? :dunno: Thats a lot of power for something that light.
Click my sig link for some help with the head sequence. ;) **Post 19 will contain the pertinent info. Adjuster has a great guide of sorts around here. I read that about 5 times before doing my...

Sounds like most of you stand about where I do.
I usually use it for curiosities and useless info so I don't *generally* try to source it elsewhere. Although if I need some solid info or something that I may actually use then I'll certainly find more sources to back the point.
What I really...
Holy crap, I'm excited to see video of this monster!!!
I hope the assembly all goes smoothly and we(supramania) get to see this BEAST up and running soon. :)
So I just realized when I need info on just about anything at all, the first place I look is wikipedia. In school they always tell us that wiki is a horrible place to look for facts as some of it can be edited by users.
Now I'm fully aware of the editing and such, but I would venture a guess...

I'd keep it for nostalgic reasons only. After more than a year of obsessing over these cars I still think it'd be awesome to have stupid little stuff like manuals and window stickers.
That said, even I wouldn't pay much for a user manual. You can get them from the dealer brand new, I believe.
The tranny jack will help a ton when putting it back in, but for taking it out its not required.
I used a trolly jack and a small piece of wood for a little extra jack surface. Having a few helpers will help IMMENSELY when withdrawing it from the engine.
I have nearly 280k on my chassis and its the ORIGINAL motor. My tranny needed a rebuild, and it had a BHG within a few months of me owning it, but other than that it's in excellent shape. It also came with over 200 records of maintenance and professional repairs.
If you want a car to work on...
Ya, I really see no need to take the entire engine out. If you take off the upper intake manifold, that pesky starter bolt will be much easier to reach. The starter was the hardest part for me.
Good luck and if you have any problems post up or feel free to PM me.
WTF, why would someone take that stuff? Its not worth much to sell used, but it'll cost a bit to replace. :dunno:
Sorry to hear about your mother more than anything. :(
