I'd keep it for nostalgic reasons only. After more than a year of obsessing over these cars I still think it'd be awesome to have stupid little stuff like manuals and window stickers. That said, even I wouldn't pay much for a user manual. You can get them from the dealer brand new, I believe.

The tranny jack will help a ton when putting it back in, but for taking it out its not required. I used a trolly jack and a small piece of wood for a little extra jack surface. Having a few helpers will help IMMENSELY when withdrawing it from the engine.

Ya, I really see no need to take the entire engine out. If you take off the upper intake manifold, that pesky starter bolt will be much easier to reach. The starter was the hardest part for me. Good luck and if you have any problems post up or feel free to PM me.
