Bored there 1J? That was fast.
Like 1J said, double and triple check the crank snout. Woodruff keys don't usually break on their own. Usually a loose pulley does it, but an unbalanced crankshaft can do it, too.
I killed my cat this way. I just kept revving it with a heavy miss lite a dumbass. About 5 mins later I see orange chunks flying from the tailpipe. Oh $H!T!
LOL, it's just unnaturally quick for an N/A. Moe posted that on the first page and it made me laugh, so I stuck it in my sig.
Update! I made a short video for my Intake/Exhaust sounds, just in case anyone actually cares about that stuff. BTW, my fiance has NO idea how to help someone when...
Good shape? What's it need? Let me know!
Imagine a car, that hasn't been driven in 10 years, and has been sitting in a dirt lot. Yeah, right. Guy got a BHG in 97, hasn't driven it since. No thanks.
My exhaust:
Magnaflow muffler, 2.5" custom bent, empty cat converter. Sounds healthy, with a nice throaty sound. And I'm always getting compliments on the sound. I'm about to swap the manifold for OBX headers from 935 motorsports.
PM me if you want a video of it running.
1. Check Valve
2. No more expensive than anything else. (I get 'em for $3.90 each!)
3. Toyota genuine parts (except oil filters, I suppose) are FTW.
Edit: Read next post. I still have a stash of the old P/N. So until I run out of those, that's what I'm using.
