240 RWHP is about right for this car. I've driven a couple (including a 98 M roadster) and for N/A they're fairly quick. It needs a black paint job to be really cool, though. :sarcasm:
My gauge quit working right after my first engine swap. I raised hell with the shop, made them put in a new sender...
Then when I put a new gauge in it ($42 from Toyota) it started working again. LOL. Oops. :icon_redf
I have the same problem with mine. Somethimes the LEDs don't work, and the button doesn't fully depress. It's the CC unit. Maybe you can take it apart and clean everything up? :dunno:

Yes, the v160 will fit in the MKIII.
BUT! You have to modify the transmission tunnel AND get a custom driveshaft, iirc.
You really should replace the headgasket. Seriously.
Disassemble the motor and get the head machined. Then add the ARP hardware and torque to 70+. Then call it good :D
