brake fluid pissing out the tranny seal!!?

If this is on an R154, you better check that the slave cylinder rod is seated on the clutch fork, and hasn't shot out- if it did, that'd be why you're spilling brake fluid, and why you have no pedal resistance. PS- otherwise, make sure your bleed valve to the slave is CLOSED.

Well, today's the 1st Thursday of the month- anyone heading down to the midtown Varsity meet tonight? I was also wondering- now that I live in Lawrenceville, is there anywhere up here that people like to cruise/ congregate? I used to live in Kennesaw, and Barrett pkwy was the place to go- if...

Supra is rattling like crazy when I rev near 3k RPM

Yeah, it's definately better to have the motor rebuilt- it's the only way to really know that you're starting with a trouble-free motor. Sometimes, a freshly- rebuilt shortblock or longblock pops up on the for sale section. Now here's what you really should do now. start the car up, and put a...

    quad tip exhaust possible?

"I could get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a cow's ass, but I'd rather take the butcher's word...." :biglaugh: Just wanted to use that line.... Anyway- Quad tip, possible? Yes. Mess up performance? No. Look good? Questionable. Pain-in-the-butt? Definately. The...

    Compression ratio and engine heat

I also doubt that a shaved head would cause obvious increases in temp. Check fan clutch as mentioned, and also thermostat- it may be sticking closed, which would be the same condition as a bad water pump. Also- you used a Stone head gasket? Not familiar with them.

    Kaze Aerocraft

As I recall, It took Acroth a LOT of time and money to set up this body kit. Also, you'll need some wide wheels to fit with the kit properly. If all you want to do is 'spice' up the car a bit, I highly recommend a shine front lip. They're understated, and look like a factory sport upgrade...

How long does it take to run low on fuel pressure? Is it immediate? You definately need a fully-charged battery to determine what's going on.

    Car not boosting smoothly!

Your fuel pressure is only 26psi? I have mine set to about 35. I thought stock was in the low 30's. Someone smarter than me please chime in on this. I use a gap of .28 on NGK coppers. No problems here.

is it ok to run15 psi?

And yes, I am guessing, I know. I agree that a dyno tune is the only way to know if the boost level is safe.

Supra is rattling like crazy when I rev near 3k RPM

It's not that it might be rodnock, it IS rodknock. 3K rpm rattles are one of the legendary signs of this. Of course I could be wrong, but I'd really bet my own money on this. Did you ever ask him WHY he did this? I mean, If my buddy got a cool, high revving car, yeah- I'd rev it up(with...

is it ok to run15 psi?

You can go as high as 15 psi, but most people say that the CT26 runs out of efficiency range around 12-15psi. That being said, I run mine at a max of 13psi, but I do have a Walbro an AFPR, and a MAFT. Without at least an AFPR, I would be concerned with trying to ensure that the A/F ratio was...
