I understand that I'll need to unbolt the steering rack from the column input, and the two motor mounts, and of course the four subframe bolts.     Factory Piston Coating?

    Those aren't oem's...exactly. NPR offers a oem replacement piston with an 'anodized' top. Supposed to protect slightly against hot spots or something. I bought a set about 5 years ago for a rebuild, then sold them when I decided to go forged.

    Reading on them, they say that in the case of E.S., the two colors are just for personal preference, and don't reflect a difference in hardness. One thing I didn't know, though, was that E.S. generally always impregnates their black poly parts with graphite to for self-lubrication. Had I known...

    Yes, they can disassemble it for you. It'll just cost a bit more in labor. Make sure that the shop you go to has the ability to create the proper surface on the head and block, for your head gasket; not all shops do.

    Fuel Line Pulsating No idea why

    Never heard of this problem. On a long shot, take the cap off th fuel pulsation dampner, and make sure that the screw didn't back itself out.

    Charcoal cannister: The bottom pipe doesn't go anywhere else; it vents down there. That vsv looks to be for the heater core valve on the firewall. It's supposed to be mounted right under the valve, currently located above it. Edit: Beat me by 3.22 seconds, JJ. :biglaugh:
