Fan doesn't do anything at highway speeds...in fact the only time you really need it is when you are in traffic or driving around town at low speeds.
My car has never overheated, and I don't have an engine undercover. From what I understand, it helps direct airflow through the engine bay, and...
Exactly^^ I wasn't sure how to explain it, so I decided to wait for someone that knew to respond. :)
And yes, coolant is bad for paint...I made the mistake of letting it sit on my Porsche...:(
Man, I can't believe the condition of that car, considering it's age...it looks Great! Is that the original paint?
Oh, and I probably would have left the suspension stock...just for the sake of being practical... I'd imagine you are going to be scraping every driveway once it's lowered?
Actually, pressure helps cool better, how can the engine cool down if there is no coolant in it?...jeez you really need to use your brain before you do stupid and potentially dangerous things...1st degree burns, anyone?
Yea, that's why on the radiator caps it says "Do not open when hot".
Did you bleed your cooling of air? It could be an air bubble causing you to overheat. Could also be your thermostat sticking...if it happens again, try hitting the thermostat housing with something.
13lb cap is OEM spec.
Wouldn't it have been easier to just heat the lenses to get the glue to melt? I've done that with lenses from my Porsche...just have to do it very carefully and slowly...Looks like you are treating this Supra with the respect it deserves! Nice Job!
LOL...how old is your PC?
The only keys that are peeling are the A and S...I'm guessing it's from my fingernails scraping them.
I also have a Mac G3 Desktop from 1998...It has been turned on for about 4 years straight, the only times it was off were during power outages during the summer. It...
Jeeez, all you PC guys and your problems.
I have a Mac G4 PowerBook, and it always works...I use it so much, that the keys are starting to peel...LOL. The only problem it has is that it will start running a little slow after a few sleep cycles...but a quick restart cures that. :)
That's not a good idea ^^. (unplugging battery while idling)
Check your codes first. Will probably throw a code 11...make sure the battery terminals are very clean and tight, and making good contact. If they are loose, it will act how you are describing.
Hopefully you'll be able to return...
