Jay.........I'm going to take you up on the plan of getting the tranny later. It still has the lines on it, and my kids have them bent up. It's cold and dark outside.
Do you have a picture of a battery located there? And, can you re-install the cover afterwards, or would you need to modify it to go back on afterwards? The targa can still go in with no problems?

That's the best advise ever! Everybody thinks these are race cars that can take a licking and keep on ticking. Your Supra will treat you like you treat it! Make it a dependable car.........then you can make it go fast!
Edit......I have now read the whole thread, and I like your...
I know it's frustrating to say that you have never even changed your oil, and then everybody keeps saying do it yourself. But, you are a member of a forums where at least 50% of us entered here the same way or close. With the help of these forums, you can do anything you want. If you are not...
Well, Ryan should be there by now........or at least soon. Ryan, please post as often as possible, so we can keep tabs on your safety. I don't want to come see the dungeon, and be trampling over your head unknowingly.
Justin 727 was just able to get a pre 89 harness, and said it is still possible to get. Check out the last 5-10 pages of his build thread for better info.

We have a winner!

Jake, I just went out to my new shell, with the glove box on the floor. I hung the top end on the hook, with the screws out of the bottom, and the lower panel out of the way. I could get my hand into the glove box, but only far enough to say I got it in there. I believe if your keys were in...
Who said buy????????? Just send me some back when you find your key.
Did you not pull your harness when you pulled your motor? How would you have hooked back to your ECU? The glove box must have gotten locked lately.Off he goes to view engine bay pics.
Jake, if you want to drive over to Satsuma tomorrow, I have the locks out of my grey car you can have. Only problem is the glove box and hatch locks are gone. But your ignition and doors would match.
Good to hear your Dad is doing better. Where have I been to just be seeing this??????It's bad enough to lose your car like that, but you have to put up with BS from the PD AND the Towing Company. I too recently lost my beloved car through no fault of my own, but I was driving it. I can tell you...
