mistake: using old pads with new rotors....just a horrible idea
the vibrations are a combination a warped rotors and unevenly worn pads
Get your new rotors turned and get new brakes, don't forget to check out your parking brake while you're in there. Problem solved.
of cuourse you can, read through the directions a few times i posted and maybe you'll understand how to do this ;)
if you truly can't figure it out report back
exactly, so what other time when using the climate control would this be helpful? Hint: think of the buttons that are actually there :icon_bigg
Also, the valve itself isn't really variable, its on/off from how i understand it. The variation in temps is a combination of hot air and ambient...
BTW: front passenger side SUCKS. The A-arm bolt WILL run into the washer fluid resevoir, unbolt it a few bolts to get it loose and squeeze that long as bolt right by it. Also DO NOT loosen the shock nut "figer loose" (step 3) as the TSRM says....this cause LOTS of problems as i found out....the...
not trying to be a dic, but EVERY thread is potentially about correcting people, OP or not. If everyone had it right, there would be no need for places like this ;)
i thought of this as well. I searched around and found ATF can ignite around 300* which an exhaust manifold can easily reach these temps, nothing else though besides the turbine section
I don't know where that temp comes from or its validity, nor do i know the difference between a...
line patched with rubber hose, clamp, blue rtv. Tested and works, no leaks.
As for flammability, since this hole is extremely small and under little pressure im not worried about it spraying all the way up to the exhaust mani. As a back-up system ive put in place a small sheild where the...
well, lucky for me (in this case) im an idiot. I didn't have the right viewing angle under the car with the small floor jack, realized it was the RETURN line that's acutally sliced there. Took some measurements, approx 3mm long and 1mm at its widest point. of course the cut all the way through...
^well, im not sure what the pressure levels are, id be very curious as the sliver into the line is very small, barely the width of the metal of the worm clamp. Since pressure is a factor of area and all that mumbo jumbo i figured a patch could even be a somewhat perm solution as it really isnt a...
The worm gear clamp on the oil pan for my oil cooler lines was resting on the PS RETURN hardline. I guess the vibration of the engine managed slice a small gash into the hardline causing it to gush PS fluid :3d_frown:.....who would thought....
Suggestions on a patch method? Cut is very small...
Is this coolant or oil? Ive notice it on the rear passenger side of the head(cylinder 6) around the EGR cooler. Very white, caked on powder. My suspicion is in the 90* coolant elbow there but don't see anything visiblibly. I only ever notice smoke coming off the exhast mani towards the accumulation.
