Naw, that wasn't me but I have seen another black one around. There is one I have seen that has a stupid looking rear spoiler it, turning right there onto Shelton Beach Rd. I have also seen the red MKIII you are talking about. Maybe we need to start chasing (racing) down these people...
I use windows media player 10 with a free codec pack I download from microsoft and never seem to have any problems. I also have DIVX codecs installed, I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Supra5! I had the same problem on my power steering pump and I checked the bottom of the resovoir like you did and it was full of junk. I cleaned it out and my steering is quiet and smooth. Thank you!

Does anyone in the Mobile area want to meet up?

I live in Mobile County Alabama, 37 years old, 3 kids. I own one of the 1988 Turbos in Alabama and up until 2 weeks ago I had 2 N/A's.
This is the car I wanted back in 1988 but couldn't touch it!! I owned a 1979 Celica with the 20R engine back then!

I pay liability , $276 every 6 months for my 88 Turbo w/targa. I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty, 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander. The monthly payment for insursance on all 3 cars is $210 per month. I live in Alabama. When I had insurance on my 87 N/A, it was cheaper! The turbo/targa made a big...
Tell her to take a hike, or tell her to call you in a couple of months to give you time to build the white one!
I wouldn't want to be left without a daily driver!

Jspec7m88,
Thanks, that took care of it! I spent most of the day trying to figure out what was wrong. At least I learned the starting circuit!

I am having the same exact problem on my recently purchased 88 Turbo. We can push it and pop the clutch and it starts. I am getting power to the relay, but the relay does not make noise. The switch on the clutch checks out good. No Power to the solenoid. I took the relay out of another car...
If it sounds like this, you may have a spun bearing. That is what I am dealing with right now. The number 5 rod bearings are spun. The Crank cannot be turned because it has been turned in the past.
Below is the link to the audio to here my knocking.
Thanks,

Guys,
I tore down my 86.5 Supra. There was a stamp with 6M on the crank. That bought me back here to Supramania to look to see if anyone else had the same issue. Sure enough, it didn't take long to find this thread.
Thanks

Suprahero!
Satsuma, AL is down here in Mobile County. We are Exit 19, on I-65 . I don't think my Supra will be back together and running to my satisfaction by March 16!
My 86.5 Supra has the exact same noise and symptoms! I am in the process now of pulling the engine because I suspect rod knock. Sunday, I was taking the flywheel bolts off and one of them came off with very little effort.
I am beginning to wonder if I should put everything back together...
