Ok so me and a couple friends finnished up puttin a different 7m engine (original had rod knock) into my 1 friends mk3...after pluggin everthing thing in, setting the timming and filling up the fluids. He goes to start up the car, cranks over, runs really rough for about 3-4 seconds and dies...

Ok the first batch were done except i noticed a small problem afterwards, the rubber patch that goes underneath was sewed and not glued like it was suppose to have been done, dont think the glue would've held. i had the same problem, even with the toyota ones, make sure everything is clean. I ended up gettin them done by my mechanic who charged me nothing, but now im gettin a crankseal leak....it looks like...
