Can you swap sensors themselves?
Do any plugs look like this on the new trans? If so thats the ABS rear speed sensor.

The second pic is most def a JZ Trans, it's more electronic. ;)
Are the bell housings the same?
My AE340E is from a 90 supra with all options and has 4 plugs.
See if the old one has a rear speed sensor. A sensor on the tail shaft of the trans.
The Neutral Position sensor has 2 plugs and 1 plug is for over drive and the 4th plug is Rear speed.
Dub: Only so much you can do. Hell, I even posted a link where all he has to do is punch numbers in. . ;)
I just know this much, with that dish and any metal head gasket he won't be able to recreate the 8.4:1 compression.

I've played around with that one before and it was pretty accurate, i had the equations written down somewhere.............

Probe is wrong. Their Books say -17CC dish, when this is clearly a -20cc DISH.
Use an Online compression calculator, no matter what you do now, you won't have the exact 8.4:1 Compression, remember that.
