Felt-Pro Gasket exhaust flange gasket is made in Japan, so it's essentially a Stone Gasket. (i remember reading on cousins gasket kit it said made in japan and i put it next to one of mine, same notch and everything.) :)

Edit: You could also take this time to add a brace for the front main seal using a small screw/brace if you're planing big boost. (Blow By Pushes those suckers out like nothing on the JZ) A lot of MK4...
Gates makes a hoses just for our cars. They're copys of the toyota hoses.

So if someone really wanted to know the R&D of the 2JZ. I bet i could ask one of my German friends to call and speak to an engineer there and see what actual blueprints or logs look like. (if they release that info, or hell someone even remembers the 2JZ. ;)) We're talking almost 18 years...
You know we had a long debate about that in a SF chat, but we all came to an agreement, sequential < parallel. ;)
But it does have toyota vsv's and if you put the 1JZ and 2JZ clusterfuck of twins next to each other besides the vsv's and the "flapper" nothing else besides size is really there...
