Just make sure it doesn't have a BHG or rod knock and you're good to go. They are a money pit though, so be warned! The more boost you feel, the faster you want to go, the more money you're gonna spend, the more parts are gonna break, you want to go faster, you spend more money, more parts...

Because of the fact I have had my hands on so many supras with a problem such as yours... 90% of the time it was the slave, master or a combo of both. The other parts were due to contaminated oil and the sycros being welded together or sludged together.

Dan I only found it by accident. By visual inspection of the lower boost hoses, you couldn't see it. So I tugged on them. Sure enough you could hear the sound of fabric ripping... the lower boost hose was toast. 16lbs sure is fun!
