Doward - like i said, its to do with the shitty compression thats being used...probably only 30 mins of stuff, but because its encoded at some stupidly high bitrate at 1080p with a shitty MPEG2 codec, thats why the space is taken up...
The problem is not storage, is the data compression. Hell, i can fit a whole 720p HD movie in perfect quality for my widescreen flatpanel, on a single 4.7gb DVD - so its not beyond the major studio's realms to utilise h264 or the same bitrates.
Blu-Ray provides a lot of storage space, but its...
It's probably all the damn HD cutscenes they have planned for it...and i'm guessing they're only bothering with MPEG2 as the encoding rather than something more efficient like h264...
Aaah ok. All the UK Mk3 owners have said that Mk4 rims are a bad idea unless you use spacers....unless you have a GA70, in which case they look OK....
I'll stick with my late 5-spokes :)
I have this - thankfully its fairly mild... I usually try to avoid contact with people i don't already know, and i dont like dealing with the phone. Text/internet is somehow a lot easier than picking up a phone and saying words to someone else.
I don't like parties (i dont go to them) and on...
Its probably because of the WGA strike....they had scripts stockpiled throughout the strike, but need to go write more, but the writers are busy with other shows :)
Similar thing happened in '95 or so - Star Trek Voyager was only 16 eps long for the first season instead of 26.
