I was thinking of just soaking (after it cured) the whole project in water and let the cardboard get soggy and come out. I take it the cardboard won't release unless it has wax on it? What other "release agents" are there? Thanks guys!

Ive driven from LA to Indy 4 times. Ive driven Indy to texas to indy (dallas) 4 times also. LA to indy is 3 days when you're really hauling @$$. Indy to texas is 15 hrs. Indy to Ft meyers florida is 12 to 14hrs.

Thats my setup right there. I learned the hardway though... don't run just a filter on the catch can. You need to run a line to the intake of the turbo and put it where the filter is. You HAVE TO HAVE VACUUM ON THE VALVE COVERS or kiss your front, rear, and cam seals goodbye!

Squid, I'd say its either a bearing inside the trans about to explode, a loose trans, or a blown carrier bearing on the drive shaft. Porterz... thats called targa flex. Its a nasty little thing our mk3s do.

FYI make sure you have all the surfaces clean and FLAT.

w58s and 55's are weak sauce, 300 to 350 max! r154's I have seen hold 800hp. The thrustwasher is the only weak link.
