The car list is a big disappointment - variations on a theme of Skylines, S2000's and Civics...BOOOORING. Very few US and EU cars. When they become available as DLC's, i'll get it.

Remember - no more than 5 thou off the head, or else your cams are going to get chewed up. Start with 2 thou and work your way up.

The ECU isn't switched on all the time though, so why not take a feed from IGSW and E01 (switched live & ground, right?), feed it through a circuit like the one i knocked up below, or like you said, take the power from the ECU regulator, assuming the additional power draw isn't excessive...

Would it not be feasible to take the 12v feed directly from the ECU pins, pipe it through a simple 78L05 Vreg and into the board, so save screwing around with external wiring?

External power input? I'm guessing because otherwise, you draw too much power? Whats the component list/end build cost (assuming the boards are the only thing you'll be doing a run of?)

If you haven't updated to the new 2011 MSN, don't. It a steaming pile of shite and everybody i know that's tried it, hates it. Also make sure you don't select "Windows Live Essentials 2011" in Windows Update because it includes the "upgraded" Windows Live Messenger. Why the new MSN fails...

nVidia cards have their fair share of hardware issues...G96 chips cracking for example, due to a faulty foundry process. The difference is - everytime nvidia have problems, they're glossed over as 'well, no-ones perfect' but everytime AMD/ATi have problems, it's made into a huge deal by the fanboys.

RHD wiring harness differs in a few ways...O2 isn't shielded for sure - again, just PVC sheathing. The only thing that's shielded, is the knock sensors. I'd hazard a guess as it being something to do with not needing to be FCC certified or something?
