    I have never seen Supra cams that were scored in person. I have seen cam journals scored, and the reason the customer cam in was upper end knock. Honestly, I guess mine were just not that way. Visual is not the indicator as much as feel.

    This is a tangent but if you want the factory oil filters, they are the ones with orange colored rubber, not black. A good dealer can get them for you.

    You can not use the Karman Vortex meter with the GE computer. An oil cooler is a good idea. No need to do anything with timing except leave it stock. If you are going for real big power, then you might need to do something with it. Why not tap the block for oil? That is what Toyota did.
