i did something similar i went threw a " puddle" turned out to be two feet deep swamped motor only thing that saved my ass was that my head lights where up and deflected water away from intake anywho just grab a shop vac and suck it out if not just take your time and use lots of paper towels...

really a 1j swap costs that much i found one with a tranny,ecu,and a harness other then that i would need to get a r154 drive shaft,oil cooler,intercooler and extend my w/h three feet and get a oil\ re location kit for the complete 1j it was 1800.00 minus shipping am i missing other steps...
