Appears to be like the oil sender in my Mk2, a 6m. If so, then there should be a wire with a connector that attaches to the little disc part of the sender you have circled in the picture above.

No way in hell did he catch me on radar, he was driving in the opposite direction on the other side of a ~100'+ median on I-15 just on this side of Cedar City I believe... just noticed me, shined his spotlight on me, flipped the lights on. Could have probably ran, but I pulled over and waited...

Supraguru makes some good suggestions. I put 275/40/17 NT05's all around on my car, and the thing is almost scary how fast it can corner now. Also had good experiences with (albeit on a 2000 Miata) the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3. The GY are expensive, but also should last a bit longer than the Nittos.

So... anyone running one of these (6262) on a 1j? 87M-GTE? I'm looking at going with the 6262 .63. Seems the turbo can support over 600, but still have a nice mid-range in addition to a nice top end.

I believe the most honest answer to his question is 'heat'. ;) But in all seriousness, timing, fuel, clogged cat, could all be reasons for this. I wouldn't drive it until it's fixed though...

I do remember hearing your engine on another thread, it sounded pretty badass, no lie. 7m Mk2 upgrade is quite common actually. Header, exhaust, 7m, I would LOVE a 7m like yours in my Mk2. 6m cuts it, but it hates revving past 4500 at this altitude...

Either way I'll be emailing them... those QSV's aren't cheap, but I imagine they make things a lot more fun. :D
