This thread will only help one, fast person, I'd say.

lmao! That's what I was thinking when i saw the auction: "Damnit, I have to get that." Besides- if I didn't, what was I gonna spend that money on? I'da prolly just wasted it on food, mortgage or bills. :)

Damn! I just checked the listing 2.5 minutes ago, and it was still there. Well, I hope it was somebody on here. If so- shout it out, so I know that posting an Ebay ad actually helped somebody. : ) Edit- 2nd one sold at 6:02:49, eastern.

There were two of these, till I bought one... http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATI-Super-Damper-Toyota-Supra-7M-GE-GTE-918525-/190699759979?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c6697696b&vxp=mtr And now there is one. Brand new, with a machining blemish on the countersunk holes- swirl...

    Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3, 4....Stage 5- Reassembly after 13 years!!!

Just got home from a 10 day trip, so there hasn't been anything to talk about. Today, I just removed the pistons/ rods, crank, and front timing covers. I'll probably drop the motor off for examination this week. I did notice, however, that the front coolant plug(the one that must be dimpled dead...

    oem toyota 13in/336mm rotors??

    Is that aluminum stock??
  7. supraguy@aol

What maintenance would you do immediately after purchase, no matter what?

That's a good list right there. If the car has green coolant, do a flush and put Toyota red coolant in it. It lasts longer, and is much kinder to aluminum heads. As for the flywheel, all you need to do is have it surfaced when you have the clutch replaced. When it is done, all you need to make...

    code 52 struggles.

So have you fixed the code 52 yet?

Would this t3 Garrett be a good fit for a 7m?

250hp would be a good bump for a normally aspirated 1.4 - 2.0 4 cylinder, and i think thats the kind of engine that this t3 is probably geared towards.

    code 52 struggles.

Dunno about the harness question, but as for detonation- i dont think that would cause a code 52. The code identifies a fault in the system. I would check continuity of the signal lead to the ecu on each one, then check continuity to ground on each shielding wire, and make sure that you have...

    oem toyota 13in/336mm rotors??

I think the main thing to worry about is depth/ offset. Is an LS400 rotor larger? Maybe check the offset on one of those.

    7M-GE intake manafold sensors

Why are you asking about a 7mge manifold in the 7mgte section? Are you trying to go na-t?

Would these rims be race or rice?

Whats the offset and width on them? It's important. As for the style, im not a huge fan of 10-spoke wheels. I prefer 5 spoke, and mesh types for the most part.
