Mine was loud as hell even with the Tanabe on there. The turbo is much quieter. :D

:rofl: Nice Chris. I meant did you use any type of sealant on the gasket and head+block machined. Just head machined? etc. Forget that 1jz noise. You're doing better than me at the moment. lol

What did you do to prepare the gasket?

I have many names. Car is playing find the leak with me right now. I fix one and another pops up. Hopefully this game ends soon.

It takes a long time to get good enough to engage it smoothly. I could get it after awhile but I still wasn't ever consistent. It grips better than the full face but is harsher to your tranny. If you are going to get one get a sprung 6-puck. (Springs around the splines.)
