I have a few in mind for mine. RICER NO (just because, answers a lot of questions) SKIN (I should explain, ALL plates issued in this county have the number "4", then the state symbol (the bucking bronco/cowboy thing), then whatever numbers/letters you have). ;)

Awd car to swap a 7m in?

Hey man, I've seen Supra motors stuffed into first gen Celicas before... old Corolla could be viable if you had a big enough hammer. ;) And no shit about getting hooked on 7m's... I haven't owned one in a few years, and I'm getting bad ideas about a certain Mk2 swap. Stupid 7m's... how I hate...

Really? Shit, I think I'd pretty much run the 1/4 in third with my current setup, all I'd need is the ability to rev a couple hundred more. I think I'm pulling ~102 or so in third at 7200. 100 in 4th, that's just... where you START fourth. ;)

Question about the exhaust note of a 1.5j

Again, damn my lack of reading ability... I thought we were discussing 1j vs 2j, didn't see the 1.5 thing. Plenty of people can chime in here though...

interchangable wiper arms? Are they all the same?

Ahh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood (or likely misread) what you were needing. Sorry about that, and good luck!

Feel free, hasn't been my plate in over 3 years now. Just be warned what the implications might bring. ;)

    FML, as they say

Intercoolers are meant to catch rocks anyway. :p And yes, your MS3 wheels will fit your Mk3. Girlfriend has a Mazda3, and she has my old wheels from my Mk3. 16x7.5, +~35mm offset, 225 tires, thing looks aggressive even without any other mods. :)

    Motor questions for drifting

THIS. Revving anything high enough for long periods of time would kill just about anything... Jesse, I can't recommend an iron block V8 in the nose of one of our cars... would throw off the handling too much I suspect. Maybe IJ can pitch in on that subject, I believe his 6.0L was iron blocked.

    High boost break up

What makes ya say that? Got some track bruises?

Yeah, no shit. I'd love to take my car down to Bonneville (like 3-4 hours away) and run it at Speed Week, just to see what she can do.

Question about the exhaust note of a 1.5j

Eh, it's close, but not quite. Would also be affected by turbo setup too. Doesn't sound bad, if that's what you're asking. In fact, the sound of it alone is probably what has gotten me in trouble the most. ;)

    HKS Turbo kits WTF

Eh, for what they are, they're outdated. In the 90's, there weren't as many options as we have now, and so these kits would have been a GREAT alternative, IF you had some serious cash to throw around. Not saying they weren't well-engineered though, far from it.

    FML, as they say

Man, you 92 guys always make me tear up a little... that's beautiful. Personally, I'd keep the clear markers and go with some silver-colored wheels when the time comes, would flow nicely. Why cover the holes in the bumper with mesh though?

interchangable wiper arms? Are they all the same?

From what I understand, the OEM blades themselves are best at wiping the curvature of our windshield... I've had alright luck with the clip on ones for the Mk3, but the ones I have on the Mk2 are horrible...

I had my favorite while I lived in AZ: BHG_LOL. Was even funnier, because the day before the plate came in... she blew. Stupid previous owner 7m's... :p

    1jzgte speed cut

There's a thread floating around the general Mk3 tech section... I've had mine up to ~150. With the windows down. On a stock bottom end, stock turbo, stock wastegate pressure setup. Cams and head porting is all it needed to do that. Let off after a paper started flying around the interior, but...

A couple of 1jz running issues, high rpm break up, miss at idle, and much more

I've honestly never used anything BUT copper plugs, I could care less about idle quality, so long as the engine stays alive and idles high enough to keep the oil going around...

    Motor questions for drifting

Hahaha, too true Poodles... drifting breaks shit, no matter how good you are, or how strong your parts are. Learned my lesson early on that one, fortunately it wasn't a Supra. :p
