Still doing it? My 94 Legacy occasionally does this, but only when it's really cold. The only cure for me is to unplug the injectors and crank it over. It appears to overfuel when it's cold. I would check to see if your coolant temp sensor that the ECU reads is within spec. I feel that is the...
Those wheels are sexy as hell, but not in that offset. They sell them in a 17x9 +29(i think, it's in the 20's anyway) They fit perfectly.
You've got the right idea anyway, used REAL wheels are much better than the new junk wheels now. In hindsight I should have bought real JDM wheels instead of...
Scott: Shoosh, you!!! ;)
I love Jay's tires. Pure business looking. No skimpy sidewalls, muscular looking. You own one of my favorite Supras out there!
Even though it's Jay Blue ;)
Well, I'll tell you the one's on my Subaru, 17x7.5 Rota D2. The aluminum is really thick, and they are durable, but heavy. Mine weigh about 25lbs each. :aigo:
They are well made, however.
Thanks for the heads up, dok.
Planning on using Summit's Black -AN fittings with Earl's Nylon Braided Hose. I was pleased with the quality of their fittings.
Whoa that was odd. Saw the title, and said "that looks familiar..." Checked the date and lol'd for real!
Wondered who bumped this geriatric thread... figures ;)
$120 is extremely high. I've never seen a 4-wheel alignment go for more than $75 within a 100 mile radius from me, and there's some money towns around, they're all the same.
fwiw, shocks/struts same=same. Different design is all.
I would second the alignment suggestion. Definitely get that checked out. Is the wear even across the tire or is it more toward the inside or outside?
scotty: Thanks :bigthumb:
shaeff: Way ahead of you. It's got the factory insulators down low, that upper bracket is just resting on it holding it in place. I'm working on an elegant solution for the upper hold downs, but I'm running short on ideas with this stupid upper tank. haha
::edit...
That was everything that I would say but I've never driven a Prius so I didn't know how the shifter or ignition system works.
My feelings, bottom line: If you can't control your vehicle within 30 miles, but can dial 911 (white haired guy), you deserve to have your license revoked permanently...
Update: Did a bit of work fitting the IC pipes last night. Quite a hassle, but it will be worth it once they're all welded.
Still have some trimming to do, but otherwise the cold side is done. The hot side will not be shown, I hate the routing, but it's temporary until FFIM day comes.
Seems like your switch is stuck in the closed position. I'd say for now it's an added feature, but I'd have a plan "b" in place should the switch decide to go the other way, and leave you stranded.
