Okay, since i'm N/A, i've got the 4.30:1 diff, but....Open or LSD is the question. I've checked the code once, and it says its LSD but i dont have TEMS - although i do have headlight washers. Nothing on the original sale reciept about extra's, unless it's on a piece of paper thats been lost...

I got mine in March - £500, came with tax and MOT til November, K&N FIPK, strut brace and full dealer service history. needed a new clutch in may though.

Ai ai ai! That head and block needs a serious de-coke! Haven't seen that much carbon in an engine since my '86 Ford V6! :aigo: I'd wouldn't be surprised if that much carbon buildup was what was causing the car to bitch and complain :/

I got a good deal on front brakes and pads - £12 for the lot :D They had been used before, but not a lot, still had a load on the pads and the discs were almost new. Pretty good bargain i say ;)

Finnon - i think we got the bum deal with the slidey things, and from what i've researched, the units should just be plug and play. They're both electronic units and have the same servo's and everything as the US spec ones, the units are just different. I got one on ebay for $24, and it should...

Well, i could send it off and pay someone else for it to be done, but then i'd need to ship it *back* to the states and seeing as i have GCSE and A level Electronics quallies, i think i can manage an LED swap :D

Just as a guide, I paid £500 ($950 US) for my N/A and it was in reasonably good condition with dealer history, MOT and road tax still on it, few rust bubbles, but nothing major. To find out what engine it is, look at the timing belt cover. If it says 7M-GE, then its an N/A engine with 204bhp...

I kinda guessed it would be easy enough, but i'd like to find a writeup on these things before i start it - dont want to do something wrong and screw up the dash! :)

Er, i *do* have servo's. The sliders are only variable resistors and switches, they're not cable operated at all. The airducting is all pushbutton based, as is the a/c and the like, the only thing thats sliders, is the slidey switch that determines fan speed, and the slider that selects the...

Well, i've apparrently been putting in E5 fuel, which Tesco bills as 99RON fuel, which is US 95 or so, I never put in anything less than 98 RON anyway, cause its a performance engine. In 4 days, I get more moolah to splurge on stuff, and oddly, it's time for its MOT as well, so i'll do the MOT...
