Lol - thing is though, with a lot of supra's, theres too much needing doing just to get the damn things back to working, daily driver condition all the time, you fix one thing, something else breaks, you fix that, something else will break too. Rims aren't a priority - they're a luxury! :D

Actually, on the subject of rims - hows about these for understated, yet slick? ROTA Slipstream, Gunmetal with polished lip 16x7 5x114.3 PCD £525 including 4 x Hankook Tyres. The 17x7's are £585 with the same Hankook's. And yes, i can see the picture is only 4 stud, but they do make them...

I prefer understated looks over 'loud and lairy', it's always easy to get kills in a street sleeper. People think 'aaah he's driving a POS' and their jaws just drop when you waste them at the lights and become a speck on the horizon :D

Well, you can do it on any MA70 IIRC. It used to be because of the front crossmember needed changing to the 90+ crossmember, but I have been reliably informed that you can use custom mounts from BIC Performance ($179), instead of having to do all the crossmember stuff.

... UK based JDM engine suppliers? I'm trying to source a 1JZ-GTE for my impending swap of doom, along with the ECU and loom. Anyone know where i can get one from without having to go through the US? Cheers and TIA

If you're in your car - just drive everywhere with the doors locked to avoid that situation. Oh and a gun or a bat would be nice. You're lucky you had a killswitch for when its parked though.

The 7M is a good engine despite the BHG issue, but the 1JZ is what should have been in the supra from the beginning. It's a shame that the Japanese got it and not the rest of us :(
