only has to be 15 years old for canada, even r34's are still illeagle here in canada. though i would have thought that importing a car from canada to the us would be less hassle but guess not.
this is the 1jz waterpump, yes the hyrdo fan is run off it, and its all 1 unit that wont come apart

pressuring the sstem thru the accordian wont affect the block to much, as it pressuizes the intake and cyls, all u will get is normal blow by depending on condition of the rings, so 20 psi topside might equal 3-5 psi bottom side, nothing that a non moving motor can take
i agree with you on that, would be way less messy than droping the pan on most. lucky for me the a340 has a drain plug :)
also as shown, in a boat this would be a good way.
the 2jz waterpumps fit the 1jz, and the mk4 supra ones take a standard clutch fan, where the aristo 2jz still uses a hydro fan. that sensor may be the same for a 2jz aristo as it is for the 1jz i dont know.
or the mk4 mod is only way to delete the hydro fan setup that i know of.
the pully...
yeah take the lex afm out, swap electronics off it to the stock housing and go from there. your running lean without the extra fuel to make up for the extra air.
pull the motor out and what happens? the front end goes up and gives you that awesome 4x4 look, as the springs have less load on them.
it would take a bit of playing around with coil overs, to get the car sitting level, then adjust the spring rate for the same amout of travel front and rear
