well, my speedglas finally arrived. this thing is sweet. adjusts from 9-13 has 5 sensitivity settings, 4 delay settings, etc.. and is light as a feather compared to some of the helmets my dad has. i cant wait to start using this thing. anyhow have a recomendation on what darkness i should start...

man, too bad you guys cant mod the truetrac to work. i got one in my 7m mjii and that thing is great. tried busting it and havent been able too and lots of people well over 400rwhp abusing it with no issues either. and thats just a 7,5in, the mkiii is a 8in.

if hew held it at the rev limiter like that for an extended period the oil pump prolly sucked the pan dry and toasted the bearings, thats my guess. what a fuckin moron, you dont hold any car on the rev limiter under full load for any length of time. thats a sure fire way to fuck something up.

looks sweet, ill be sure to polish my runners before i weld the pipe and ish on so that itll be easier. i got a tig now so will be making my own long runner mani, if the welds are ugly, ill grind them down so nobody can see how bad i did. lol.

then ill use the msns+e till they have a stable code for the ms2, then ill plug in the daughter card and retune wit hthe added parameters.

well my friend has the ms2 and has the wheel decoding already, his mr2 has been running on the ms2 for a few months now

adjuster, megasquirt has a link to the circuit to build to use the toyota sensor. my buddy dave is building that inside my ms box, so its all 1 unit. :D i hope to have it ready VERY soon. then ill sell the maft and safc2 to buy other mods i need.

well, i had the ms&s, thoug h abuddy of mine said he has his ms2 working off the stock cps on his 4ag, so dont see why it wont on the ms2. either way ill get it working, ill post the specifics once its tested and working...

i thought it was cheap too though it is an old machine, though my dad has a gas powered arc welder, and i was lookin at high freq boxes new, and alot of them go for over $1500, so an all in one machine for $650, i jumped. lol. anyhow, forgot to ask, what tungstens are best for welding...

ouch, yeah, i could see that as a problem for the machine. luckily this one has a eylet on the top so it can be lifted with an engine hoist. just gotta be sure to let it down nice and slow.
