v160/v161 is useless in our cars due to the gearing (not to mention the headache of making it fit). MKIVs with the v160 use a 3.13 gear, the 161 has a 3.23 gear IIRC. The lowest we have (stock) is a 3.73. At one point we had 3.55s, but they are out of production. Stick with the r154, it will...
