    Help removing turbo knuckle

Redneck engineering 101, rule #1: "If it should move and doesn't, use WD40. If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape." However, I usually recommend PB Blaster. That shit just WORKS in cases like this. I don't think I sheared even one bolt on the Chevy that I had given a couple coatings of PB...

What you didnt expect to find in your Supra

Sounds like you may have bought a car I owned. :p Well played sir. Since I never posted in Chambers original thread for whatever reason (thought I had), here is the strangest things I've found: Cockroach: -Seatbelt from an 80's GM product, so that three people could be buckled in...

    Tylers Conlins's Drag Supra

My youtube is acting up, I may have to reset the browser to get it working right, so I didn't get to see it yet. Either way, very impressive, looking forward to seeing what you guys can eek out of it. :)

Domestic Flights in the US (CA) - Options?

Understandable, traveling is expensive. If you can make this happen though, enjoy! Lot of beautiful places in this country. :) You mean this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=cBlRbrB_Gnc

    New Initial D: Stage 5

My computer has some issue where I get a bit of static over the speakers now and then, which I can clear up by unplugging/re-plugging in the audio cable, or going through the sound test on the control panel. Unfortunately, doing so does something with the audio driver, and now Youtube videos...

1946 Chevy Fleetmaster 2-door, meet "Betty"...

The more paint/rust I've removed, the more work I have uncovered haha... For what it's worth, the car probably sat outside for 30 or 40 years, so the dingg, dents, and other surprises haven't really bothered me yet. I will admit, the roof has a couple interesting dents/waves. Those could have...

    Another addition to the stable...

Glad to see updates Emp. Hopefully that radiator will be enough to cool the thing off. When you're tripling (or more) the stock power... this could be fun. :p

    Fuel lines

Considering that leaky fuel lines when exposed to hot areas have a tendency of catching cars on fire, I would suggest keeping it as close to stock as possible, assuming it isn't modified extensively. ;)

    Stupid question time: 1JZ rebuild

I looked at it as more of a "hey, here's what you're facing on an in-car removal", certainly helpful, thanks for sharing, even if it was for a Soarer/SC. :) Whatchu saying there, Tinkerbell?

Anybody running an automatic with an EMS?

Careful not to let this get NWS on us... ;) Kinda had me wondering a bit there Jay. Autos can be fun if they're manually controlled. I've never been a fan of them downshifting or upshifting without me telling it to... :)

    The Small Questions Thread

Being finicky how? As in the car dies/shuts off once it is warmed up, or revs on its own? The ISCV for the 1j is kinda expensive. Might be cheaper in the long run to go with a standalone ECU considering what all you've done to the car, you'll probably end up there anyway. Try unplugging the...

    clutch disc question

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the actual pressure increase on the disc from the PP, right?

Heater blower stopped working in manual?

Sounds like you got it figured out then? Often a good solution, as you pointed out. Sometimes things just get dirty/gunked up. :)

    poly subframe bushings kit

Good find man! I'll be picking up a couple bottles when we replace all the bushings on my car. :)

    My mistress getting fixed again.

Well that spark plug picture you have posted in your initial post doesn't look promising to me... lot of oil on that, not to mention the electrode strap looks melted to me.

Thinking about 2uz swap in a 89 mkiii

As has been said, get the vin, and call up the local PD to have them check it for you. Worst case scenario, you bust a potential thief. :p That said, $1000 for a running and driving LS400 is an awesome deal, especially if the "lost title" is the only thing wrong with it. I bought one with 176k...

    Tylers Conlins's Drag Supra

He lost over 200hp getting that to the wheels? Ouch... what auto is he using, a powerglide? Anyway, good to see it back on the road finally, and with head work (about time!). :)

    Let me see your trunks!

In the few setups I've done (couple Supras and a Mazda3), I've tried a few different routes. I found that if you try to keep the wires under the rocker panel scuff plate like you suggested, it makes it kinda hard to get back into place and look good, as there isn't a whole lot of room right...

    Synthetic oil?

I take it this is an ethical issue rather than something they could get in legal trouble over?

1946 Chevy Fleetmaster 2-door, meet "Betty"...

I believe it was a Dupont color called Black Sapphire metallic. In certain angles of sunlight, it looks VERY blue, lot of flake in it. If at night, looks mostly black. However, indirect sunlight/bulb light, or if the car is dirty, it tends to look purple. I like it thought, the body is kinda...
