Got my N/A Cam covers all cleaned off, degreased, all the old paint flaked off and currently priming them - now all i need is the IS300 Coils, and to splice the coil pack connector back onto my loom!

The car has a loooong way to go yet. Interior problems are just some of the niggles i can get out of the way. The annoying thing at the moment, is that despite a new bulb, the rear luggage compartment light refuses to actually work. Very queer.

Well the A/C in mine is....well...dead. The compressor, lines, evap etc are all there, but i'm all outta RS24. If i can find out what reciever/drier/seals i need, i'd like to do a retrofit to R134a, but if not, i'll get more RS24 and oil in the system. But yeah, this time of year - you NEED...

Today: Small job, as i'm not upto anything heavy yet - stitches and all that - don't want to burst open like a sausage! The climate control unit on the UKDM/JDM cars is different than the USDM ones (unfortunately for us - we never got a cool digital one, and you can't retrofit!), and suffers...

Sorry about the lack of updates people - a combination of lack of internet, switching countries (back in France again), and heart surgery has all contributed. Anyway, as its my first day back from hospital, and i'm supposed to be resting (pfft!), so i thought i'd post up the 'what went on' and...

My first Supra (E136GRK *sniff* i miss you :() was built in May 1988, and strangely, came from the dealership at the end of my road. I remember walking past it as a 6 year old with my dad, wanting it even then. However, at the time it was built, i was in the hospital, with kidney failure :(...

I think it was a Fiat Punto...although, i'm still amazed that during that whole night, the only driving that impressed me, was that of the Fiat Panda driver accelerating faster, and more dangerously than the space shuttle challenger down the twisty back roads to Taplow, through the fog! I wubs...

Actually thats a Mk3 Ford Escort...made in then West Germany. By Germans. With a british engine design. :D I loved those old Mk3/4 Escorts.
