Check with Veedubin in the Misc Vendors section, I would be willing to bet he could do something like that for you... It does look nice in Ron's car. :)

Car shakes and vibrates at certain rpm

Driveshaft phasing seems to be a problem that can cause this... I know it's been recommended before.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Decent looking quote, but it scares me a bit that they couldn't find the mount for the speedometer cable on the transmission... Lower. In AZ (2000') I would hit fuel cut like crazy. Moved back up to WY (6500') and never once hit fuel cut. Here ya go...

Recomend a brake setup for meeee!

13" are the smallest fronts that ARZ uses, and 12.2" are the smallest rears. I've driven on upgraded pads (Porterfield R4S) on stock machined rotors, it was good for a slow car. I wouldn't dare try to use that setup on what I'm building, or even a car of the caliber I'm driving now. The ARZ...

"The Great Race" - Bathurst 1000

Nice post Van. Things like this make me wonder just how in the hell Nascar even still manages to attract an audience...

Chambers Build Thread - "The RAV"

Funny, I use my Supra to haul crap around in. Then I realized that the LS400 has a LOT more room to do stuff like that. :p CB install looks really nice. Didn't know people still used it all that often. I suppose it could save your bacon someday though, so good to have if you know how to use it. :)

    40 + 40 * 0 + 1 = ?

Now you surely understand the saying, "I've forgotten more than most have learned?" I know I'm not there yet, but I do find myself occasionally scratching my head at things I know I should know...

    The Future

Watched this a few weeks ago with my girlfriend. Funny thing is, the idea itself isn't all that new if I'm understanding it correctly. Preston Tucker attempted a similar system with his ultimately doomed venture into the automotive industry... and that was nearly 70 years ago.

    New Initial D: Stage 5

So, anyone know yet how many episodes are going to be in this season? The wiki article on it only has air dates for the first 10 episodes. Would be good to know when it's over so I can start watching it again haha...

Any 2 Wheel Lovers on the forums

This is what keeps me off of a bike. If I'm ever so fortunate to live somewhere that a quick trailer trip to the track is a possibility, I'll likely own a sport bike of some sort. I just refuse to share the road with idiots in cars. At least on a track, you're only sharing the road with idiots...

    MKIV Roll Call?

Count me in come 2014. Or rather, my old lady. I dunno that a Mk4 would provide enough of a different driving experience compared to the 87 that is in the works for me to justify spending NSX money on one. But there will likely be one in the garage come next year. Got some pics of yours? There...

    600hp 1JZ supra vs 600hp Gt500 vs 650hp C6 z06

Guys, to clarify my intention and driving styles, here are the two reasons I could see myself boosting in 5th: -Running at a track where reaching speeds in excess of 165 are entirely possible (looking at Bonneville salt flats mostly, unless by some miracle I end up driving my car in Lemans :p )...

Boost Films SFL - IBT's MKIV Supra breaks 1000+hp [HD]

Florida has always been like that for as long as I can remember. If you didn't have at least a 10 second car you were gonna see a lot of tail lights, and this is going back at least 12 years in my memory now... As for that car, pretty nice looking, appears to be rather well put together...

Killing The Myth: ATF vs PS Fluid

Interesting thread guys. I've never had a Supra that didn't have a leaky steering system, but I suspect that's due to a lack of maintenance by my part (or any other previous owner), so I never gave it much thought. Might be worth noting, I've used PS fluid in my system, and likely on my other...

    Thinking of Stroking the 1j

There has been talk that if my bottom end takes a crap, we might be porting the head even more, getting even more aggressive cams (and related valve springs/retainers/custom valves/etc), rods, pistons, the whole lot. Then we're going to say goodbye to any power below 3k, BUT... make up for it on...

    Boost gauge having trouble 1jz

You deserve a cookie sir. Had a bit of a laugh at the thread myself. No offense to the OP, but pretty much any gauge I can think of on a car can only be at one position at a time. Your gas needle is either empty, full, or somewhere in between, but not all at the same time. ;)

    The Small Questions Thread

If I'm not mistaken, the AC fans only come on when things get REALLY hot, correct? Thinking about it more, that really shouldn't have any bearing on the situation. Possibly to prevent too much current draw? Or perhaps a similar reason such as how your fogs turn off if you turn on the high beams...
